Stacy Romick is a Controller Consultant at Ampleo who helps clients to bridge finance and accounting gaps in their current structure whether due to M&A transactions, strategic initiatives, adoption of new accounting standards, or turnover. Stacy has had the pleasure to work with and for family-owned start-ups, mid-size PE-backed, and Fortune 100 companies in the professional service, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, life science/biotech, healthcare, and nonprofit industries. Stacy’s ability to see the big picture while being close to the details helps her develop actionable items and navigate complex accounting and finance environments effectively and efficiently.

Before joining Ampleo in 2024, Stacy worked for eight years as a Big Four auditor and five years as a Controller where she integrated acquired revenue streams and units, restructured accounting departments, implemented policy and process changes to resolve process inefficiencies and control deficiencies, documented technical positions under IFRS and GAAP, and implemented and integrated software systems to support adoption of new accounting standards while overseeing all accounting functions, closes, financial reporting and compliance requirements.
