Lloyd George is a CFO at Amplēo with extensive international and domestic expertise in financial and operations management, strategy and planning, accounting, reporting, data analytics, IT systems implementation, tax management, treasury, regulatory and debt compliance, stakeholder relations, team building, acquisition/due diligence, internal and external audit management, and private equity coordination. He brings to Amplēo clients a broad base of expertise with over thirty years of public and private experience in companies ranging in size from small start-ups/greenfield investments to global operations of over $400 billion in revenues.
Before engaging as a consultant at Amplēo in 2020, Lloyd started his career with Peat Marwick (now KPMG) in St. Louis, Missouri, and spent over ten years in public accounting, both domestically and overseas in Asia. Lloyd has held many positions throughout his career which include, Acting CFO/Global Controller of Wilsonart Int’l Holdings, a $1.3 billion private equity-invested global building products company, CFO and Treasurer of an IPO roll-up (start-up), CFO and Chief Compliance Officer of Trustmart, a Walmart-owned enterprise of over 70 companies in China with revenues of $1.5 billion, Regional CFO – Asia and Europe for Walmart Stores, CFO and Acting Director of Operations of Halmode Apparel with $300 million in revenues, and project lead on multi-year, multi-million dollar ERP system conversion.
Lloyd’s current base of clients at Amplēo includes companies operating in retail, health and wellness, auto tire and service, trucking/transportation, FMCG wholesale sales and distribution, direct sales and installation services, consulting services, and equity fund development services.
