Lauren Farnsworth is a Partner, CFO and Transaction Advisor at Amplēo with proficiency in financial and strategic planning, cash management, business process management, leadership theory and development, private equity, financial forecasting and modeling, investor relations, technical accounting, financial reporting, software implementation, audit and tax management, information technology management, and human resources management. Her expertise ranges across multiple industries including financial services, construction, SaaS, e-commerce, and consumer products and services.

Before becoming a consultant at Amplēo in 2021, Lauren worked for five years in the financial services audit practice at EY. She then spent three years with American Express as a Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, specializing in regulatory reporting and treasury operations. Lauren opted for a change of industry and expertise in 2017 when she became the Corporate Controller of Fieldstone Homes, a large local home builder in Salt Lake City. She was promoted to become the Chief Financial Officer of the company in 2018 and remained so until her departure to begin her Consulting practice in 2021.

Lauren is a member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and a former member of the University of Utah Young Alumni Board of Directors.
