Ted Galovan
CFO / Turnaround & Restructuring Advisor

Ted Galovan is a CFO and Turnaround & Restructuring Advisor at Amplēo with over 25 years of experience, who has helped startup companies to multi-billion-dollar businesses operating in the technology, retailing, consumer products, manufacturing, financial services, real estate development, and construction. Ted brings a breadth of experience operating in both domestic and global markets. Ted has led or been instrumental in the acquisitions and divestitures of six companies totaling over $1.1 billion, and $350 million in private/public debt and equity financing.

Ted began working with Amplēo in 2020. He began his career at General Mills and worked for Eddie Bauer for 13 years as the Director of Financial Planning and Director of Accounting as they grew from $80 million to $1.6 billion. He was also CFO for Oberto Brands, CFO for a Deluxe Check division, CFO for SquareTwo Financial, and CFO of Basic Research. He was CFO for EAS Sports Nutrition as they grew from $80 million to over $400 million. Ted was a CFO consultant with Trimingham based in New York, where he restructured over $500 million in debt with GMAC bank. Ted has significant experience working with Private Equity groups including North Castle Partners and Weston Presidio. He also has an entrepreneurial spirit and was a founder and CFO for Syght (weapons threat detection) and PowerKeep (A Shell licensee), both operate successfully today.
