Brett Coats is a controller consultant at Amplēo who is experienced in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, data analysis, and FP&A. He has spent time in the FinTech, SaaS, commercial real estate, ecommerce, and telecom industries. He is experienced in preparing for a variety of audits including annual/quarterly financial, SEC, bank, due diligence, state property, and sales tax audits. He has a unique combination of skills that allows him to marry accounting and finance knowledge with the ability to query and analyze data. He is proficient in getting to the right data, automating processes, and creating models and templates to increase efficiency.

Before joining Amplēo in 2024, Brett worked for over 20 years as a controller doing everything from front-line accounting for small businesses to acting as interim CFO for a publicly traded company.  He has quickly become a valued advisor to senior management wherever he has gone.
