Brent Hucks is a CFO at Amplēo who has 30 plus years in accounting and finance.  He has broad experience in entrepreneurial ventures along with extensive knowledge of startup capital structuring.  He has a strong background in database management, structures, and implementation.

Brent has worked and/or consulted in several industries including real estate, traditional banking, Wall Street investment banking, wealth planning, tax planning, financial advisory, transportation, non-profit, health care, and most recently SaaS.  

Before joining Amplēo in 2023, Brent worked 17 years as a CFO helping enterprises get their accounting/finance departments restructured or building them from the ground up. Much of that work included raising capital, investor and cap table management coupled with strategic alignment of company and financial goals as well as implementation of proper accounting controls. 

Some of the highlights of his experience include consulting with the executive team of Rockstar Energy Drink as it was bursting on the energy drink scene and later helping to fund Xyience Energy Drink as it built its new brand alongside the UFC during its explosive initial growth.  As CFO for Xyience, he was instrumental both directly and indirectly helping the company raise over $60mm in debt and equity financing to fund their growth with the UFC as their main sponsor.  As CFO, he also helped to build their permanent accounting and finance teams as they transitioned to a more established and recognized company. 

More recently, Brent worked with Verge Technologies, a SaaS company, to build their accounting department along with proper accounting controls. Under his leadership, Verge was able to raise upwards of $6mm in private equity for their expansion and marketing needs.
