Geoff Schmidt is a fractional CFO consultant at Amplēo who loves helping companies working through challenging times. His greatest joys come from partnering with a troubled organization and collaborating with the stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to thrive. He loves to leverage the breadth of his experience across a wide spectrum of industries to apply them to the next opportunity to help a client, and in so doing, learn still more strategies to apply.

Before joining Amplēo in 2025, Geoff spent a decade in the commercial real estate industry, helping businesses make well-informed decisions about their portfolios that were financially sound and optimized service delivery. This gave him exposure to diverse industries, including airplane manufacturing, biotech, healthcare, banking, and technology. He has subsequently spent nearly a decade in healthcare. After a few years in specialty retail, he spent a couple of years in nonprofit work. But no matter where he has worked, he has always focused on finding the biggest challenges facing his companies and working on strategies to navigate those obstacles.

An active Rotarian, Geoff is highly involved in community service projects, both near his home and internationally.
