CFO

Geoff Schmidt is a fractional CFO consultant at Amplēo who loves helping companies working through challenging times. His greatest joys come from partnering with a troubled organization and collaborating with the stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to thrive. He loves to leverage the breadth of his experience across a wide spectrum of industries to apply them to the next opportunity to help a client, and in so doing, learn still more strategies to apply.

Before joining Amplēo in 2025, Geoff spent a decade in the commercial real estate industry, helping businesses make well-informed decisions about their portfolios that were financially sound and optimized service delivery. This gave him exposure to diverse industries, including airplane manufacturing, biotech, healthcare, banking, and technology. He has subsequently spent nearly a decade in healthcare. After a few years in specialty retail, he spent a couple of years in nonprofit work. But no matter where he has worked, he has always focused on finding the biggest challenges facing his companies and working on strategies to navigate those obstacles.

An active Rotarian, Geoff is highly involved in community service projects, both near his home and internationally.

Jason Parr

President, Sales Tax

Jason has spent 30 years going deeper into one discipline while most firms go broader. He joined Peisner Johnson in 1996 and built his career there learning every service line, working through every kind of situation, and eventually becoming President and CEO. The Sales Tax People has completed 35,000+ projects for companies ranging from regional mid-market businesses to large multinationals. His clients are CFOs, controllers, and the accountants who serve them, usually calling when the exposure has already been building quietly for months. He'd rather you call before that point.

David Mink

President, Marketing

David founded Avalaunch Media in 2012 and built it into one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in the country: 50 people, 8 figures, clients like Red Bull, GoPro, and Microsoft. After working with hundreds of companies, he kept seeing the same pattern: businesses with a real marketing leader get results. Those without one waste time and money. That's why he built the first fractional CMO, agency-backed solution and why he joined Ampleo.

Dana Calder is a strategic HR executive and Partner with more than eight years of experience helping founder-led and private equity-backed organizations build scalable people strategies. She specializes in partnering with SaaS, technology, fintech, and mission-driven companies to strengthen leadership teams, develop practical HR infrastructure, and guide organizations through growth and change. Dana is known for bringing clarity to complex people challenges by combining executive coaching, organizational strategy, and hands-on execution. She is committed to helping leaders make thoughtful decisions that create healthy, high-performing organizations where both people and businesses thrive.

Ryan Purser

Partner, Finance

Ryan Purser has helped companies secure hundreds of millions in debt and equity financing, and specializes in forecasting, financial models, KPIs, and the system upgrades that make them all work. He spent nearly a decade in finance, operations, and eCommerce at Cricut, leading the finance team through a $280M IPO, and has optimized SaaS and hardware-enabled tech companies, run global operations and supply chain, and built BI teams from scratch.

Partner, HR

Reagan Berkley brings 15+ years of HR and People & Culture leadership, most recently as VP of People & Culture at Green Street, where she cut time-to-hire from 87 days to 45 while lifting candidate satisfaction 40%. She specializes in talent acquisition strategy, retention, and leadership development, turning people programs into measurable business results.
