Jade Millington

CFO, Turnaround Advisor

Jade has 23 years of corporate finance experience. He started working early in life as an unpaid intern on the family farm. Now, his experience ranges from small startup companies to multi-billion dollar international companies. Without question, his preference is to work in mid-size and smaller companies where a significant impact can be made. He has experience in strategic planning, operating budgets, cash management and controls, forecasting and modeling, general management and fundraising.

Jade also works on turnaround assignments and has been involved in receiverships, restructurings, and bankruptcies. These assignments have involved juggling competing demands of ownership, creditors, management, employees, and various other stakeholders.

He has held roles that include acquisitions analyst in a private equity firm, portfolio manager in a money management firm, VP Finance, COO and CFO and has served on multiple corporate boards. Jade has experience in various industries including software, education, real estate management, manufacturing, consumer retail, private equity, e-commerce and golf courses/resorts.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Boise State University, where he loves watching his team on the blue turf. He also has a master’s degree in business administration from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management. In addition, Jade is a member of the Treasure Valley CFO Forum.

Jade was a founding board member of a K-8 charter school in Idaho, working diligently on the approval process and initial enrollment. He loves rugby and coaches a high school rugby club that has three consecutive state championships and one national championship and serves on the board of Rugby Idaho. Jade enjoys camping, fishing, firearms training and spending time with his wife and two children.
