Peter Winder is a CFO at Amplēo who is skilled in strategic finance and accounting analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, inventory management, credit and cash management, and business process improvement initiatives.

Before becoming a consultant at Amplēo in 2021, Pete began his career in accounting, working over 10 years for small, local businesses in Salt Lake City, Utah. He later served as Controller and then Vice President/CFO of Sysco Intermountain Inc leading and managing all financial functions of the business. He spent over 20 years with Sysco Intermountain before relocating to Houston, Texas in a new role for Sysco’s corporate office. While in Houston, Pete led a team developing key planning and forecasting tools as well as business process improvements as a Senior Director of Business Process Management. He then took a Regional CFO position for the company, leading the Rocky Mountain Division (covering Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Kansas).  Pete later became CFO of Sysco’s Specialty Meat Division with meat packing plants coast to coast primarily responsible for budgeting/forecasting plant operations as well as mentoring local plant financial management.
