Mark Buckley
CFO

Mark Buckley is a hands-on Operational CFO with 25+ years of experience helping growth-stage,
founder-led, and private equity-backed companies scale profitably, improve operations,
and create enterprise value.
Throughout his career, he has led finance organizations while also owning many of the
functions that matter most in smaller and mid-sized businesses—HR, IT, risk management,
banking, systems, legal coordination, strategic planning, and operational execution. Mark is
most effective in companies where leadership values speed, trust, accountability, and
practical decision-making over bureaucracy.
His experience spans manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, SaaS, and clean
technology. He has helped companies grow revenue significantly, improve margins, raise debt
and equity capital, implement systems, professionalize reporting, complete acquisitions,
and successfully exit businesses — including helping lead the sale of Brock USA in 2025 at
approximately 5x invested capital.
What differentiates Mark most is the ability to combine deep financial and technical
expertise with a practical, people-first leadership style. Mark enjoys building strong teams,
developing talent, and translating complex numbers into clear decisions leaders can act
on.
Mark is especially interested in partnering with CEOs, founders, investors, and boards looking
to build durable, high-performing companies.
At his core, he is a curious, servant-leader who draws inspiration from a team sports
approach to life. Mark is here to help and understand how best to apply his strengths to the
needs of the people, culture, and problems the team faces.
